Big Little Lies

I love every single book that Liane Moriarty has writtten!  Big Little Lies was one of my favorites!  HBO picked up the book and made it into a mini-series with Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman among other top actors.  I really enjoyed the book!  It follows a group of women who are connected because their kids are in Kindergarten together.  It portrays the seemingly perfect lives of the women and it begins with a murder scene.  I love the way Liane ties up everyone's stories she is telling at the end of each book.  Some unbelievable plot twists always occur in her books and Big Little Lies has a great twist!   Pick up this book, you won't be disappointed!  HBO signed Big Little Lies onto a second season too!

The Woman in the Window

This book will leave you breathless.
Anna, the woman in the window, has agoraphobia because she has lived through a horrible tragedy. She spends her days drinking wine and spying on her neighbors.  A "perfect family" moves in next door and Anna sees something that starts to make the world she knows crumble around her.  This is a must read and you will not want to put this book down.  The plot twists will leave you breathless.

Little Fires Everywhere

Little Fires Everywhere is a great drama that you will dive into and love.  It is set in a community where everything is meticulously planned including their roads and colors of houses.  A family moves in and the status quo is threatened.  The best part is that Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington will star in this movie! 

It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover

Are you ready to take an adventure with characters that will never leave you?  It is achingly brilliant about love that comes at a price!  You will be so involved with Lily that you won't know what she should do next.  It is a great romance.  I am leaving this post with a great quote.

Crazy Rich Asians

Are you a Real Housewives junkie?
If you are, dive into this book series!  It is truly the Real Housewives of Singapore!  It is full of spice, flare and so much gossip you won't want to put it down!  The novel follows Nick and Rachel who have been dating and live in NYC.  When Nick asks Rachel to come home for a friend's wedding over the summer, the drama begins!  Nick hesitates to mention that his grandmother is UBER wealthy and the friend's wedding they are attending is "the wedding of the season"!  This novel was written in 2013 and Kevin Kwan has followed up with two more amazing novels in the series.  THEY ARE ALL SO FANTASTIC!  Over the summer, I devoured all three in just a couple of weeks.  The best news...the novel is going to be made into a movie this year!  This is a MUST read!

The Wife Between Us

I love a good psychological thriller and this one does not disappoint! As I read this book, I made many assumptions. Don't assume anything as you read this book!  Is it a woman being stalked, a jealous ex-wife or none of the above?  At one point in the book, you will start replaying scenes in your mind thinking, did I just read that correctly?  This is one of the best thrillers I have read in some time.  Enjoy this book and let me know what you think!

The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah

I am highlighting the book, The Nightingale by Kristen Hannah. This book takes place during WWII and is set mainly in a German Occupied France. Take an adventure with two sisters that are left in France to raise their children, survive and save some souls. This is a book that will stick with you! As I read this book, I couldn't put my finger on why it seemed so familiar but I loved the writing style. Once I finished, I realized this was the same author that wrote the amazing book about friendship through the decades of two friends in Firefly Lane. This is definitely a book to pick up! I promise you won't be able to put it down. It is a page turner to the very last chapter!
